Infants Up & Running With Mathletics
Our sixth class helped the boys and girls in junior infants to log in to Mathletics today.
Juniors & Seniors then got some time using the school’s iPads to complete some activities.







Hospital/Herbertstown Continue Support of Gaelic Games in the school
Hospital/Herbertstown GAA club have a long association with the school and that continued today with the presentation of playing equipment to the school.
John Collins, on behalf of Hospital/Herbertstown Bord na n-Óg, made the presentation along with current club players Joe Fogarty and Oisín O’Grady. All three are past pupils of Herbertstown NS.
The school is very grateful for the support.



6th Class Tour of Ardnacrusha Power Station
Sixth class were given a tour of Ardnacrusha Power Station on Friday.
The pupils got to view many different areas of the station as well as being shown how the plant produces electricity. Their guides explained how the different parts of the scheme were constructed and the pupils really enjoyed learning about how fish travel through Ardnacrusha.
It was a very memorable day for all.
