Congratulations to Conor and James who were part of the South Limerick team who won the Mackey Cup.
Only around a dozen Herbertstown NS pupils have Mackey Cup medals so it is a huge achievement for the boys. The South overcame the city in the final having beaten the West in a very close semi-final in Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale.
Well done to Sadhbh who respresented Herbertstown NS on the South Limerick camogie team who were very unlucky to miss out on Neville Cup success. They lost a tense final by 1 point.
