Drawing

Thank you to everyone who has helped the pupils when they brought home the Picker Pals pack. The children look forward to seeing who will come out of the draw each week and are having a lot of fun with the Picker Pals themed activities, especially singing the Picker Pals song.
The iPads were purchased using the proceeds from the sale of Christmas Cards and Christmas Annuals.
Thank you to all parents for your support.
Some amazing lengths were reached and after some careful measuring the winning streamer’s creator was awarded his prize.
In a superb game of football, played between teams from fifth class, the Mr Franklin coached Kerry side got the telling scores in the final moments to win the Ned Daly Shield.
Congratulations to both teams on great performances and a big thank you to Dylan O’Connor who referred the game.
On Friday last, Kevin O’Connor and Shane Markham of Hospital/Herbertstown GAA club’s Bord na n-Óg visited the school to make a donation of playing equipment. Two of the club’s senior players, Dylan O’Connor and Dean O’Shea were also in attendance.
The school is grateful for the continued support from Hospital/Herbertstown.
For the past couple of weeks 1st & 2nd class have been learning about apples.
From looking at the different apple varieties, to how they are harvested and creating an excellent apple harvest display they now have a great deal more knowledge on a favourite fruit for many.
In recognition of their hard work, they all got apples from the Apple Farm in Cahir. The variety they received was ‘Tipperary Pippen’.
