Herbertstown NS was well represented at the UL Sport Kids Run for Fun on Saturday in Limerick.

Neville Cup 2018
Well done to our representatives on the South Neville Cup panel who lost narrowly in the final on Thursday last.
South Limerick Win Mackey Cup
South Limerick claimed the Mackey Cup for a third year in a row on Tuesday afternoon in the Gaelic Grounds.
Special congratulations to Declan and the team on this fantastic achievement.
After School Training
After school hurling continues on Thursday afternoons.
Local club hurler Michael Whelan was on hand yesterday to assist in after school hurling training and as a result 30 pupils where hurling on a nice spring afternoon.
A welcome visitor to the training session was the County Under 21 Cup which Michael won with Hospital/Herbertstown on the previous Saturday night.
Community Games
Herbertstown NS pupils excel at Community Games.
Congratulations to our pupils who came home with medals in the Community Games recently.
We had medal winners in solo singing, group singing, swimming and in the team quiz. Well done all!
Indoor Hurling
Herbertstown NS participate in South Indoor Hurling Finals.
Our boys team from 4th class competed in the finals of the South Cumann na mBunscol Indoor Hurling competition today in Martinstown. The boys lost out in keenly contested games against Kilmallock, Kilbehenny and Martinstown. It was a great experience for all involved.

Indoor Hurling
Well done to our boys team who participated in the indoor hurling competition today in Martinstown.
Following games against Knockainey, Ballylanders and Knocklong our team qualified for the finals of the south indoor hurling competition next week. Well done boys!
Indoor Camogie
Our girls represented the school today at the South Indoor Camogie blitz held in Martinstown.
The team lost narrowly to eventual finalists Effin and Knocklong. Well done girls.
