On Friday last, Kevin O’Connor and Shane Markham of Hospital/Herbertstown GAA club’s Bord na n-Óg visited the school to make a donation of playing equipment. Two of the club’s senior players, Dylan O’Connor and Dean O’Shea were also in attendance.
The school is grateful for the continued support from Hospital/Herbertstown.
First & Second Class were busy preparing entries for the GAA’s Seachtain na Gaeilge competition where they had to create a poster about their GAA hero.
A broad range of heroes could be seen from Limerick players, club coaches and even Marty Morrissey!
This week, Kevin O’Connor and Shane Markham from Hospital/Herbertstown Bord na n-Óg presented hurleys, footballs and sliotars to the school. Thank you to the club for their continued support of the school.

Our boys team travelled to Martinstown today to participate in the South Indoor Hurling blitz.
The boys lost to a strong Hospital NS side in the opening game but followed this with a draw against Bruree NS and wins against Ballylanders NS and Athlacca NS. Well done boys.
Attention now turns to the camogie which takes place next Tuesday.
6 Herbertstown N.S. players competed in the South Limerick Schools Handball blitz in John the Baptist C.S. on Monday.
